Full-Stack Engineer (+5 years developing web applications) - Active

Nature of Arrangement: Can be part time or full time.

Software platforms/protocols - knowledge of some or all of: (1) PHP, (2) CSS, (3) JavaScript, (4) JQuery, (5) React, (6) MySQL, (7) Paypal (8) Stripe (9) AWS, (10) Azure, (11) Wordpress, (12) WP Engine, (13) Natural language processing; (14) Responsive design; (15) HTTPS, would be an asset.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be working primarily on the web app and blog site used by Clausehound’s community of legal and business professionals. You will also be responsible for providing guidance to a group of 3 talented junior developers.

Aspects of our site that you will be working with: database interaction with the front end of our software, interaction among customer databases, user permissions, payment processing and administration, natural language processing, and user experience improvements (among other things).

Location: 341 King Street East Suite 615, Toronto, Ontario, M5A 1L1, Toronto, Canada. Travel to our satellite offices may be required. Out of province candidates may be eligible for a relocation subsidy

Minimum Qualifications:

While entry is open to non-graduates, preference will be given to those with relevant degrees. A degree in graphic design is advantageous although other art and design subjects will be accepted.

Web designers develop and produce Internet sites and combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of websites and printed pages. You may use a variety of design elements to achieve artistic or decorative effects.

As a Web Designer, you will be working primarily on the web app and blog sites used by Clausehound’s community of legal and business professionals. You will also be working closely with a group of 2 to 3 talented developers as well as the sales, knowledge and management teams. Your work will make a big impact on a small company!

Aspects of our site that you will be working with: design and database interaction with the “front end” and “back end” of our software, interaction among our various customer sites, and user experience improvements (among other things).

What You Bring to the Team:

We are looking for the best to join our talented and tightly-knit team. You’ll be working closely with management, and our sales and content experts.

  • Develop and design “wire frames” for site layout, develop and design web and graphic designs, in both cases based on the requirements of our content team for posting to the web
  • Develop HTML web pages (using the platforms and protocols noted in this job posting) for our company website and blog, based on specifications gathered from team members, and based on Web design and content requirements as described below
  • Create and optimize content for the Web site
  • Manage the nature and content of site and graphic designs
  • Work with software development team to ensure that designs properly work with the site database environment
  • Perform rigorous testing before transitioning developed software from the test environment to the live environment
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment including delegating to other Web designers or website designers, and together with other company employees including the sales team, content development team and other members of the software team

Duties and Responsibilities: You own the vision and the product, and you work with the entire company to build tools that our customers want. You will set goals and initiatives, prioritize releases and features, translate and communicate across different functions of the company, and you always stay close to the customer.

Duties and Responsibilities: You will be responsible for building the overall sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. You are expected to be a dynamic leader who enjoys working at both strategic and operational levels.

We are looking for a talented and entrepreneurial sales executive to join our team!

The candidate will be responsible for:

- Leading revenue generation and customer acquisition by developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan covering all aspects of the business development model including prospecting, sales cycle management, client account management, retention and up-selling

- Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of sales strategies, methods, costs, and results and report findings to the CEO

- Building out the sales team. The executive will provide guidance, coaching and leadership to these resources
